Everybody likes free. Free is the best word you can say to someone who is looking to buy something. So when Viveport Infinity was offered to virtual reality users, people were beyond happy. The offer was meant to be just until the end of June, but now Viveport is planning on extending the offer.

Viveport Infinity is a subscription service that allows you to access all of Viveport’s games for a cheap $12.99. Many people have been taking advantage of this deal, and even more have been since the start of this new promotion. What users have been doing is doing the 14 day free trial, and then after that is up Vive will send you a code to use for getting another free two months. After the two month process of gaming you can either cancel your subscription, or if you liked it you can keep using it. Odds are you will fall in love with it.

Now the offer has been extended to the start of August. If you start before the 4th of August, you will be able to still get your two month code.

If you have an Oculus Rift or an Oculus Rift S, you will be able to access the code as well now. You will have access to all of the Viveport options even though you have an Oculus headset which usually is not under the umbrella of Vive games and ports. Viveport Infinity is updated week by week, so something to keep an eye out for is games that are uploaded at the beginning of the week. For example, when this deal first struck open, Form was not on the subscription list. Now, you can find this fun, relaxing puzzling game on Viveport Infinity.

Synth Riders is another new game that many haven’t gotten their hands on yet, but its something worth playing. In this rhythm action game there are fitness trackers to tell you how you are doing. It is something worth noting and playing to get your sweat on. This inclusion of headsets is very generous, and everyone is certain to find something they like, regardless of the headset that you are operating on. With that being said, the Oculus Quest is not on this deal because the power it lacks.

Along with the Quest being excluded from this deal, no Windows PC headsets are included either. We know the end of these headsets is slowly upon us, but we did not think it would be this harsh. The deal does not include the Dell, Acer, Samsung, Asus, HP, and even the Lenovo daydream series. These headsets are getting no love and it is clearly marking the end of an era in PC gaming.

The Oculus Summer Sale is also on, and the Quest is excluded from that. Because most of the content money Facebook is making right now is from their new standalone headset, we will not be seeing any of those titles go on sale any time soon.
