Its been known publicly for a while now that Jaunt was done with the VR scene, but we thought that would be the ending of that story. It wasn’t though. Now it has hit the press that the company is now looking to make money off of the materials and hardware they used. An online auction is how they are looking to get rid of their wide variety of headsets and monitors.
At first it was unclear if they were going to try to sell it all in a bundle to a company online, but it has just been confirmed that they are willing to sell to anyone online with the money to buy it. The auction includes anything and everything from their offices in Santa Monica, and Heritage Global Partners is the hosting company for the auction.
As we have some pictures of the products, we put a list together of the products the will be available for bidding shortly.

If you’re just starting a business you might not want to be reading this and looking into this auction, as it shows your deepest nightmare. Liquidation. Plenty of cool toys will be in here, although Heritage Global has specified that they’re going to try their hardest to be giving to bidders that have a company, and not your everyday consumer. With that being said, it wont stop professional resellers from taking advantage of this great money opportunity.
