The world is the playground for AR developers and players, but it can be often to get these people in the same creative space. With Minecraft AR, you will be sharing the entire world as a playground. As fun as that seems, it can often be hard to get your creators all in the same place. Enklu has found a solution for that, and it has recently been launched in the heart of technical creations in the United States. San Francisco is the home to the newest AR creation center for gamers and developers alike.

This new interactive space is called E.den, and is a large social playground that is dedicated to giving creators a place to make large-scale immersive AR creations. E.den will allow both ammeters and professionals to access the community built world that they can be a part of. These creators will also have access to the tools and recourse they will need to be a part of the community and the creations within.

Whether you purchase a membership or a day pass, you will have access to a Microsoft Holones headset that is running the Enklu AR operating system. This will allow users to have full access to he mixed reality experiences many are having. If you are unfamiliar with the Microsoft HoloLens, the staff from Enklu will be walking around the entire day assisting with any technical or virtual needs and problems.

VRScout has the opportunity to interview Lelia Amirsadeghi, the Strategic Adviser to Enklu when she said that “The tagline is ‘play, create, share.’ It is that. You go there to play, start creating stuff, and at the same time be sharing that with whoever’s in the space and get real-time feedback on experiences. It’s an excellent collaboration tool. The CEO of Enklu often refers to it as “Google Docs for AR” because of the ease of collaboration and file-sharing.”

She went on to say “No matter how many experiences are on the platform at that time you can come back and forth all day long and try out multiple immersive AR experiences. The idea is once you get more users into the system, they’re going to start creating their own content and experiences and put them out there and price them.”

“At Enklu we focus on applications and use cases of technology that are socially inclusive and lead to more authentic human connection,” said Chief Executive Officer, Ray Kallmeyer, “in social reality, users can maintain eye contact and presence within their environment, which for the first time opens the door to shared experiences with digital technology.”

For just a small monthly fee of $35, you can own your very own membership to Enklu. This will allow you to go whenever you please to get your AR fix in. During any business hours, you are welcome to go use the Microsoft HoloLens and start creating in the shared AR space. This is an exciting time for anyone wanting to try the news technology inside of AR.

The daily fee to get into E.den is a simple $20, so if you plan on going just twice a month, it will be worth it to get that monthly pass. Not only will you be helping yourself, but you will also be funding this fantastic shared idea for the community.

With AR picking up steam faster than ever before, it will be exciting to see how quickly it catches up to VR, and even possibly pass it one day. For more AR and VR news, make sure to check back at VRGear.com
