Today in a tweet from Beat Games Studio, the company announced that Jaroslav Beck is stepping down as CEO. This comes as news to many, as the company is taking the partnership of Imagine Dragons as an example for this move, and reason on why it is a good idea.

Beat Games knows how well this recent partnership has been received within the community, and the gaming studio wants to replicate the success they have been having. The part of this partnership that has everyone loving it is the phenomenal music that we have all been blessed with. Imagine Dragons have been a nationally-known band for a while, and their music fits the style of Beat Saber very well. Up until now, the CEO of Beat Saber has been the one making the music, along with doing everything the a CEO needs to do inside of a successful business.

Music is the top priority of this game for Beat Games, and it rightfully should be. Without good music to play, this game can become bland and boring very quickly. Along with new packs often, good music is key to this game. Beck has had a passion for music since his early years, and he is looking to make more of it in the following years. Wit Beck stepping down, this opens the door for him to spend more time making exclusive music that is perfect for the world-popular game, Beat Saber.

Vvladimir Hrincar, one of the co-producers of Beat Saber, is planning to take over as CEO. He is going to be focused on everything that tasked Beck in his time as CEO, such as operations, game development, and partnering with other studios and platforms to bring this game to more audiences.

We know that this move was not decided by one person, as this should benefit everyone with Beat Games, top to bottom. This move will not only give the creators a larger role within the business they created, but give Beck – the music maker – a chance to give this game something it will be needing plenty of in the time going forward. New exclusive music.

Although this studio has seen immense success in the pervious years, they are not slowing down anytime soon. Along with the Imagine Dragons collaboration, they have recently done deals with Monstercat, K/DA Popstarts from League of Legends, and have many more in the works. The company has plans to get 360° levels onto the Quest platform. This was showcased back at E3 this last year, and has only picked up recognition and popularity. The studio has also been leaking hints at a new song that should be making a debut in the coming weeks or months.

Beat Games have done everything that they need to do to keep their empire growing. With the new music curator at work and the new business-minded CEO at the helm, we can expect them to make and create great games and songs going forward.
