If you thought your Beat Saber skills were something that no one could challenge, think again. Even if you have beaten every single level on expert+, Beat Saber has something in store that will push every single user to the edges of defeat.
The gaming studio took to Twitter last Friday to announce the making of a new song they have been working on and what kind of challenges this should be giving the users of the world. In this song you are going to be faced with over 2,000 blocks to hit, 7,100 lights, and you will be slicing a scary 6.25 notes per second. If this sounds like it is too intimidating, then you are probably not going to be up for the challenge. You can check out the official tweet below.
If you have played Beat Saber on the Oculus Quest on expert or expert+, you know that you can often experiences some high levels of latency when swinging for the notes. This new song for this game is sure to push the limits of this standalone headset even further than ever while showcasing (or exploiting) the tracking system of the Quest. The Oculus Rift S is going to do just fine with this new song from Beat Saber.
If you have played Beast Saber on your Oculus Rift S, you know that this new headset has worked perfect with tracking the controllers in high-stress games. This is nothing new, as all gaming VR PC headsets show an incredible tracking ability. Although the controllers are tracked by the headset itself, you are not going to experience any problems with the new song from Beat Saber Studios.
The name of the song has yet to be released, but we hope it is something completely out of pocket, but still representing how challenging the song will be. If we were asked to help name the title of the song, we would suggest something like “The Daddy Song” or “The Hardest Song Ever.” Something that may be out of line for the company, but something that it can easily be remembered by. This is a golden opportunity for the ever-growing studio.
There is no date that we can expect this song to debut, but we are sure hoping it is sometime quick. The faster the masses can play this game, the faster we can make this something that we make a guide for beating. We know this song is going to take plenty of times to get the rhythm down, but we are sure that it is something ever Beat Saber player can conquer with the right time and dedication put into it.
We don’t know if this will be a part of the third release of DLC or if this is something to make a solo debut. Something that could happen is this level releasing on the Rift S the same time that the 360° levels are going live on the Oculus Quest. No matter how they structure the release, this is going to be something that every Beat Saber fan can look forward to.
