Oculus Studios’ Marvel: Powers United VR has been a staple in the VR world, but it has always lacked in the end of variety. After the first few matches, it felt like you had already seen everything the game had to offer. Developer Sanzaru Games has recognized that, and is making its way to change that.

Planetary Assault is the name of the major patch that took place last week. It features new boss battles throughout the levels, and has you fighting through enemies on your way to activate canons that will take their troops out. This was all possible through UI fixes and some great character tuning.

Sanzaru is happy with this patch, but already looking forward to the next one that will include a nuke defense that is able to destroy enemies in mass, and if not treated properly, has a chance to kill you and make you restart the whole mission. The next patch will also include hidden enemies through the map, and extra points for taking them out.

It is nice to see the developers add patches where needed, and being willing to address the problems. We still sit here wondering when we will get Iron Man, and when this game will launch on Oculus Quest. Something Sanzaru will need to answer in the coming future.
