Arizona Sunshine Gets 2-Handed Quest Update

0

Arizona Sunshine came out on the Oculus Quest not too long ago. This game has been a hit on the Oculus standalone headset for the time its been on the store, and today it is getting its first major update. The timing is no surprise, and we already knew this update was on its way. This update is going to allow two-handed weapons to be a part of the Quest version and a part of all of the gameplay.

There are thirteen different weapons that have been added to the game that will be wanting two hands to shoot. You can aim down the sights and shoot with more accuracy than ever. If you think you are Rambo and you can simply fire from your hip, give it a shot and let us know how that goes in the comments below. If you have played the game on your PC VR headset, these weapons won’t be new to you. For the full list of the new two-handed weapons, you can check those out below.

The 13 new weapons are:

  • M1 Carbine
  • M2 Carbine
  • AUG
  • G3A3
  • M16A1
  • M16A4
  • Commando
  • AK-47
  • I85a2
  • M1A1 Thompson
  • MP44
  • K50M
  • Type 100

Unlike the PC version of this game, the new weapons won’t be scattered around in campaign. To play the game with these weapons, you’ll need to select the Two-Handed Weapons mode inside of the settings. For Horde mode though, these weapons will be available as you are progressing and killing. The continuous mixtures of SMGs, handguns, and two-handed weapons will be constant in the Horde.

You can hold rifles with each hand to take out your zombie enemies or line down the sights, as the game isn’t requiring two hands to shoot, so going gun-crazy in this game is going to easier and more fun than ever.

There are other small patches and updates in this December update, such as handgun accuracy and gun ray tracing. This is the first update since launch day for the Quest, so you can expect the updates to only get more exciting after this one.
