VR Awards 2019 Results and Winners

0

The annual virtual reality awards took place last night in London, and we were pleasantly surprised by some of the results. From game of the year surprise to the medical advances of the year, these award ceremonies had everything that you could hope for an annual event. Below, we will list the winners of each award followed by the nominees that struck out this year.

We also would like to point out that John Carmack, CEO of Oculus, took home the most prestigious award last night. Carmack walked away with The Accenture VR Lifetime Achievement Award. This is the highest accolade given to the individual with the most outstanding contributions to virtual reality for the year. This could’ve been predicted, as Carmack is a pioneer in this industry, but it is still nice to give recognition where it is due.
