Angry Birds was one of the first hits on the iPhone, and the game hasn’t changed nearly at all in its tenure as a top hit. Angry Birds Isle Of The Pigs has a fun and real twist to it. Because this game is in 3D, there is a lot more angles to attack from to get the job done. I mean that literally and figuratively, as you can now select which way you are going to shoot from in this game. Simply point your controller at the circle that you wish to shoot your bird friends from, relocate there, and fire away! You also have the ability to lean left and right to get better angles on the structures that hold the bird.
The way you shoot the birds in this game is pretty self-explanatory. The slingshot is always going to be in your left hand (unable to change within the setting) and your right hand is going to be pulling the rubber back, launching, and aiming your bird weapons. The physics are going to be exactly the same as a real slingshot, as you pull back more and you gain more power. Move either hand to aim slightly different. You can mess around with the feel of it all, but for the most part it will feel exactly like real life.
The physics of the structures is great. Just like the mobile versions of this game, you are going to be amazed with how well this game works. If you are going to be playing this game for an extended period of time, you are only going to understand how hard the developers worked to make this game perfect. This is exactly what you would want and expect from a virtual game of Angry Birds.
The birds return in the same way they are in the game with the sam birds making an appearance. You first start out with the red bird that is basic and has no abilities. This bird is useful for shooting strait, but not much more than that. The next bird is the yellow bird. He has the ability to zoom to the structure at a faster rate than it was shot at. This is import for taking large structures down at the point you want them to be shot at. The next bird you meet is the big black bird. This bird will explode, but only when you pull the trigger. This should be exploding on contact, but I guess that is not was intended. Lastly, you are meeting the blue birds. When you pull the trigger after you shoot them, you are going to to see three little birds come out and spread across the structures. This is very useful when there are small structures that need to be broken, or multiple pigs that need to be taken down.
Overall this game is one of the best and fun experiences you can get on the market. This game is easy to play and easy to get the hang of. You will find that the levels get harder and harder each time, but it never gets to a point when you can’t complete them. If you use all fo your angles and birds correctly, this game is going to be one of your favorites in no time. This is a game with a price point of $14.99, and you will be getting your moneys worth.
