Iron Man, the long-awaited marvel themed virtual reality game, has been pushed back until the middle of May 2020. This game is coming to virtual reality headsets as a PlayStation VR exclusive, meaning that you can only have access to this title if you own a PlayStation and own a virtual reality headset for the PS4.

The anticipated release of this game was for February 28th, but that is no longer the reality. The developers of this game, Camouflaj, recently tweeted that the game is going to be pushed back. “In order to deliver on our vision and meet the high expectations of our amazing community. ”This isn’t ideal, but it does often happen when it comes to virtual reality projects. You can check out the tweet below.

Iron Man is the most anticipated PSVR game coming in 2020. There are plenty of big titles being released for Oculus and PC VR headsets this year, but none of those are going to hit the PSVR system anytime soon. If you are wanting a high-end title on the PlayStation, you will be waiting until the 15th of May.

This game isn’t only anticipated to be the best of the year, but we personally think it already could be. We have played this game before, and we were incredibly impressed by the controls. Movement inside of VR is hard enough, and making the controls able to control your hands in flight is even harder. If they released this game last year, it still would’ve been great. We are confident that this game is going to be more polished than most and will be setting a new standard for what PlayStation Virtual Reality games should play like.

The controls are next gen, the graphics are next gen, and most importantly, it feels like a game that is never going to let you down.

Story

As for the story in the game, Camouflaj has a lot of different routes it could take for this game. We haven’t yet pinned down what part of Tony’s life they are going to replicate, but they have no shortage of options.

Are they going to instantly throw you in the end game? Will you be protecting the home city of New York? There is a lot that could be done, and we think the devs are going out on this part of the game. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this game have hours upon hours of original gameplay. We don’t think this will be a game that will feel like an arcade game inside of your home. This will be a full VR title.
